Big Ant's BBQ started in 1987 in Louisiana, in the backwoods of the country. Founded by Papa Hypolite, the tradition now carries on through his son, Big Ant (short for Anthony). Their motto, "Slower the better." They take their time cooking each rib and put the same amount of love into their cooking as if it were for their children.
